How I work

Whether you're considering therapy for the first time or seeking further support, I offer a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

 

I provide a thoughtful, confidential environment where your experiences are heard and valued. Here, you can reflect at your own pace, making sense of complex emotions and discovering new ways of understanding yourself.

Initial Consultation:

I provide a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so we can explore whether we'd work well together.

I strongly believe that matching with the right therapist is essential for effective therapy. During this brief call, you can ask questions, learn about my therapeutic approach, and evaluate if my style meets your specific needs.

First Session:

The first session is a consultation where we can both get a sense of what starting therapy together might feel like. I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy and relevant aspects of your life history, while you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions on your mind. If you decide to proceed, we'll establish a regular time and day for our ongoing sessions.

On-going Sessions:

I offer weekly, 50-minute sessions, giving us time to explore your concerns thoughtfully and in depth.

You can choose between in-person sessions at my practice in Islington, North London (on City Road), or online therapy - whichever works best for you.

I offer open-ended, as well as fixed term therapy (e.g. 3-6 months). We can discuss this before we begin.

Fees: 

My fee is £75 per session.

Fees will be invoiced monthly.
